Our most precious nation’s pride, Don Felipe Aldana passed away today at 106 years of age. The nation and town mourn his passing leaving us with a never forgotten legacy. A prominent figure in the land of music and a caring father, he first brought the Marimba into town and his family all respected members of our community.
All the history and knowledge Mr. Felipe shared with his family will ever be present in our memories, his music his performances, a life full of joy and pride. It is expected the internet will be flooded with photos remembering his best years. We had the privilege to take a few photos of him, we honor his life and to his family we extend our most sincere and deepest condolences.
